Entry Premium monitor with handset

Om – Entry is a door entry system that works standalone or together with Paxton’s Net2 access control system or Paxton10, access control and video management, combining door entry with key features from our access control software. Entry consists of 3 components which are automatically discovered upon installation; the external panel, the indoor monitor and the door controller.

The Entry Premium monitor features a 7-inch capacitive colour touchscreen, free to use concierge management functionality and multiple customisation options available with built-in themes. The monitor can be wall or desk mounted, this unit can be used via the handset for private calls or in handsfree mode.

When used with the Entry Touch panel the premium monitor supports two-way video calls and video messaging.

Installation – Entry components are easily linked together using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch leads. Entry can also utilise existing network infrastructure for simple installation. PoE technology transmits power and data along the same cable to avoid the need for separate power supplies.

Operation – A visitor initiates a video call via the call button on the external panel. Visitor access can be granted via the Entry monitor which features an intuitive touchscreen user interface. The internal monitor can be used either via the handset for private calls or in handsfree mode.

When connected to Net2, building access can be gained by using a PIN, code and/or proximity token. When connected to Paxton10, access can be gained by using Bluetooth® smart credentials, a PIN, code and/or proximity token.
