Glass Break Detector GD470-6

The passive glass break detector GD 470 is suitable for float, tempered, laminated and reinforced glass. The GD 470 is glued to the surface of the glass and detects various types of attacks (including cutting tools) on the glass surface.

The GD 470 shares its design with the GD 475 but has a built-in relay for the alarm input. This allows the GD 470 to be connected directly to the alarm panel, no intermediate interface unit is needed. Even though the power supply leads are colored red and black, the GD 470 is polarity independent, just like the GD 475. The color is to distinguish the power leads from the white alarm input and tamper tamper leads.
