Product Overview
Solo is a smartphone and cloud-based access control system managed entirely via the Paxton Solo app.
With Solo, your phone acts as both the system and the key.

This kit includes a Solo Controller, a Solo Passage Reader, and five years of credits – a complete solution for secure and flexible door control.

Solo Controller
The Solo Controller communicates via Bluetooth with smartphones that have the Paxton Solo app installed.
It controls access by unlocking a connected door when an authorized user presents their smartphone to the Solo DoorTag.

The unit features a voltage-free relay for controlling locks or other electrical devices. Exit buttons, door contacts, and alarms can also be connected.
Communication with the cloud is via the users' phones, eliminating the need for local network infrastructure.

Installation
The controller comes with a label indicating necessary connections for easy installation.

Solo Passage Reader
The Solo Passage Reader is a passive NFC device that replaces a traditional card reader. 
It requires no power or wiring and is easily added to the system via the Paxton Solo app.
It can be mounted on most surfaces using adhesive pads or screws. 
For optimal performance, the reader should be installed within 6 meters of the Solo Controller.

Usage
Present a compatible smartphone with the Paxton Solo app in front of the reader to gain access.
All events, including granted or denied passage, are displayed in the app for administrators and system technicians.

Credits
Five years of credits for one door are included. 
A notification will be sent to admin users approximately 3 months before the credits expire. 
New credits can then be ordered for any duration. Usage: 6 credits per door per month.
