Shock Detector CD475 Black

CD 475 offers reliable monitoring against attacks with mechanical tools. CD 475 is a selectively sensing vibration detector with 3 separate detection channels: an integration channel/saw channel for weak signals with long duration, a counting channel that detects strong impacts on the monitored surface, and an explosion channel that detects very strong signals from e.g. an explosion.

Sensitivity and other settings are selected via DIP switches. The detector has an LED for alarm indication and tamper protection against removal and opening of the housing. For mounting on concrete and brick walls, the mounting plate MP 550 with expansion bolt should be used.

In challenging environments outdoors or indoors, a special housing WH 500, with a built-in heating element, should be used to obtain a suitable temperature and humidity for the detector.

CD 475 shares design with CD 470 but must be connected to the analyzer IU 400 for alarm indication as it lacks built-in relay outputs.
In case of alarm, the current consumption in the detector increases, which the analyzer IU400 detects and signals an alarm. CD 475 is polarity independent, just like CD 470.
