Glass Break Detector Acoustic AD800-AM

AD 800-AM is an acoustic glass break detector with Anti-Mask function, certified in Grade 3 according to EN 50131-2-7-1 and approved according to SSF 1014 in alarm class 3/4, which corresponds to the recommendations for high-security installations.

The detector is based on the latest microprocessor technology and has a number of advanced algorithms related to the room's acoustics (Digital Room Compensation). Thanks to these algorithms, it can distinguish the signal from broken glass from other disruptive signals. The AD 800-AM features a newly developed active Anti-Mask function (cover protection) with a separate relay output for enhanced security. If the microphone is covered or the detector is tampered with, the detector will output an Anti-Mask alarm. It is intended for indoor installation and can be mounted either on the ceiling or on the wall, opposite the protected glass pane. The detection area is 165°, with a 9-meter radius, allowing one detector to monitor multiple windows in a room.

The detector can detect standard glass, tempered glass, and laminated glass. Maximum glass surface area: 6 x 6 meters.

Note: Avoid mounting the detector in corners and near air intakes and ventilation.
