Smart+Guard is a durable, hinged protective cover made of polycarbonate that can be easily mounted over a range of different pushbuttons, emergency stops and other devices to provide protection against vandalism, accidental damage or misuse.
Smart+Guard can also be equipped with a built-in battery-powered alarm that, when the cover is lifted, emits a deafening 90dB alarm, warning the user that the device is intended for emergency situations only and must not be tampered with. In its red form, it is typically installed over pushbuttons for fire alarms with breakable glass to protect the breakable glass from intentional misuse or accidental damage, thereby reducing the number of false alarms.
