The XP95 IS Mounting Base has been designed to only accept IS devices. This ensures that standard detectors cannot be accidentally fitted into an intrinsically safe system. XPERT cards are supplied with all bases. The XP95 IS Base for the intrinsically safe range is not identical to that for the standard range. This ensures that standard detectors cannot be accidentally fitted into an intrinsically safe system.
